Job Title: IT Intern Job Summary:JX Advanced Metals USA is a leading supplier of consumable electronic materials. Products include sputtering targets for semiconductors, flat panel displays and data storage devices, and wafers for compound semiconductors. Our integrated manufacturing process assures consistent quality, stable materials, and a low cost. Our manufacturing facilities in the U.S. assure customers of a stable and timely supply of materials anywhere in the world.JX Advanced Metals is hiring an intern. This role is preferably a full-time, project-based role. Applicants can expect an opportunity to work collaboratively and independently to develop new equipment. Preference will be given to upper-division applicants.Education and Experience:Currently pursuing a degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field. Relevant technical coursework, certifications, or hands-on experience. Duties/Responsibilities:Work collaboratively and provide technical support to users and assist with IT projects, system maintenance, hardware and software setup, and troubleshooting activities across the organization.Preferred Qualifications:Working knowledge of computer hardware, software, and Microsoft 365 applications, with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities. Demonstrated initiative, excellent communication skills, and the ability to learn new technologies while working effectively both independently and within a team environment.Physical Requirements:While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to stand; walk; sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; and talk or hear.
