Job Description
The Disability Resource Center (DRC) is seeking a dedicated, organized, and enthusiastic employee to assist students through the DRC registration and accommodation process. This position provides an opportunity to support accessibility initiatives within higher education while gaining hands-on experience in student services, communication, and disability resource operations. The ideal candidate is passionate about creating inclusive environments, enjoys helping others, and is committed to supporting student success.
Responsibilities:
  • Assist students with completing DRC registration forms and lead intake meetings
  • Provide guidance on navigating the DRC intake and accommodation request process
  • Answer general questions regarding DRC services, procedures, and campus resources
  • Support outreach efforts, resource fairs, and accessibility awareness events when needed
  • Assist with administrative tasks, including data entry, appointment preparation, and organization of materials
  • Collaborate with DRC staff to ensure students receive timely support
  • Skills and Qualifications

Minimual Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in psychology, social work, public health, special education, counseling or related field or a year of related experience with facilitating interviewing skills, customer service, and knowledge of TMCC services and policies.

The desire to work with students, faculty, and staff from many different backgrounds.
Compensation
Base Hourly wage of $19 per hour

Part-time Faculty are not eligible for health benefits unless they meet specific workload requirements per semester.
