You are:

The Environmental Engineer II will play a critical role in delivering environmental compliance services to our industrial clients. We are seeking a high-achieving, motivated engineer with a strong drive to succeed and a genuine desire to learn and grow. This position requires a combination of technical expertise, field experience, and exceptional client service and problem-solving skills. This role involves up to 25% travel for site visits and field work.

This role is not an entry-level or technician position; prior experience in environmental/civil engineering or consulting is required.

Responsibilities include:

  • Conduct Phase I and Phase II Environmental Site Assessments to evaluate potential environmental contamination and liability
  • Perform comprehensive field work, including stormwater sampling, quarterly environmental site inspections, and annual comprehensive site inspections
  • Interface directly with clients to provide technical guidance, project updates, and regulatory compliance recommendations
  • Prepare detailed technical reports, permit applications, and regulatory agency correspondence
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local environmental regulations and standards
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including engineers, scientists, and project managers, to deliver comprehensive environmental solutions

Required Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Environmental Engineering or Civil Engineering (required)
  • 2+ years of experience in environmental consulting, compliance, or site assessments
  • Experience with Phase I and/or Phase II Environmental Site Assessments
  • Experience with stormwater inspections, sampling, or NPDES compliance
  • Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel (~25%)

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience preparing technical reports and regulatory submittals
  • Familiarity with AutoCAD or similar tools
  • Knowledge of federal/state environmental regulations
