The Role

The Planning Intern supports the Operations Planning team by providing detailed reporting, data analysis, KPI tracking, and overall operational planning support. In this role, the intern gains hands-on experience in truck scheduling, plant capacity planning, and workforce optimization. They work closely with plant, transportation, and operations teams to improve efficiency and enhance service levels.

What You'll Do

Support ongoing operational improvement and transformation projects

Document current workflows and identify process gaps, bottlenecks, and inefficiencies

Analyze operational KPIs to identify improvement opportunities

Support root cause analysis for recurring issues and translate data findings into process recommendations

Measure before/after impact of transformation initiatives

Coordinate with plant operations, transportation, planning, and CX teams to ensure project execution

Prepare project updates, dashboards, and leadership-ready summaries
