Role Overview

We are seeking anEnvironmental MonitoringSpecialist Ito support our Microbiology Environmental Monitoring team. Themain roleof the Quality Control Specialist, Environmental Monitoring I is to provide daily operational support and environmental monitoring (EM) services to the Immatics aseptic production areas and perform/provide safety testing for final drug product release.


Schedule: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM; Monday to Friday; On-site
Reports to:Associate Environmental Monitoring Manager
Location: 13203Murphy Road Suite 100 Stafford, TX 77477

Basic Qualifications:

  • BS in a science related field, preferably in Microbiology (degree may be waived for more years of experience)

  • Experience with aseptic processing and cleanroom occupancy is a plus

PreferredQualifications:

  • Intermediate Excel skills.

  • Professional writing experience.

In thisrole youwill:

  • Performance of environmental monitoring of the aseptic production areas includingviableair monitoring,viablesurface monitoring, total particulate monitoring, and personnel monitoring.

  • Responsible for incubation of samples,reading ofresults, reporting, andsubmittingdata.

  • Performance of microbial identification preparation and testing including preparation and transferodsamples to contract laboratory.

  • Conducts microbiological media growth promotion andmaintainsdepartment stock cultures.

  • Supports aseptic process simulations through environmental monitoring, inspection, and evaluation.

  • Responsible for equipment qualification execution and ongoing cleaning and maintenance

  • Performance of safety testing on in-process and final drug products

  • Performance of general laboratory operations including but not limited to inventory maintenance and ordering, laboratory maintenance and cleaning/ disinfection, samplereceiptand disposition.
