What does an environmental monitoring intern do?

An Environmental Monitoring Intern assists in the collection, analysis, and reporting of environmental data, such as air, water, and soil quality. They often work under the supervision of environmental scientists or specialists, helping to conduct fieldwork, operate monitoring equipment, and maintain accurate records. The role provides hands-on experience in environmental science and helps interns develop skills in data analysis, research, and compliance with environmental regulations. This position is ideal for students or recent graduates looking to gain practical experience in environmental monitoring and sustainability.
