Job description

Overview

Are you a passionate about environmental stewardship? As the Environmental Specialist, you will provide technical input on environmental monitoring and design or construction methods to ensure compliance with environmental specifications or regulatory standards.

What you will be doing
  • Audits, analyzes, and reports on environmental performance to internal and external clients, as well as regulatory bodies.
  • Collaborates with design and construction teams to advise on minimizing adverse environmental impacts.
  • Conducts impact assessments to identify, evaluate, and mitigate environmental risks and financial costs.
  • Prepares environmental reports for supervisor review and leadership presentations.
  • Raises awareness across the organization about emerging environmental issues and coordinates public hearings and consultations.
  • Trains staff at all levels on environmental issues and responsibilities, and engages in environmental education and research to stay ahead of industry trends.
What we are looking for
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in Environmental Engineering or an environmental related field required.
  • Environmental certification preferred.
  • Experience in environmental monitoring preferred.
