To thrive as an Environmental Laborer, you need basic knowledge of environmental safety protocols, physical stamina, and often a high school diploma or equivalent. Familiarity with equipment like air monitoring devices, hazardous material handling tools, and certifications such as OSHA HAZWOPER are commonly required. These abilities are critical for ensuring safe, efficient site cleanup and compliance with environmental regulations.

What is an environmental laborer?

Environmental Laborers are workers who assist in projects aimed at protecting and restoring the environment. Their duties often include cleaning up hazardous materials, maintaining equipment, and supporting environmental remediation efforts at contaminated sites.
