Radiologic Technologist - Cardiac Cath Lab
Assignment Duration
This is a 13-week contract position.
Schedule
Day shift: Monday - Friday, hours based on surgery, typically 0600-1630. Schedule is flexible on 5x8hr.
Job Description
The Radiologic Technologist in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for performing a variety of technical procedures and managing all imaging aspects within the cardiac cath lab environment. This role requires the ability to scrub and pan cardiovascular arterial venous studies alongside cardiovascular specialists.
Responsibilities
  • Manage inventory and supply chain under facility PAR levels.
  • Monitor per case expenses and propose cost-saving ideas.
  • Ensure compliance with rules and regulations set by governing accreditation agencies.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot fluoroscopy and ultrasound equipment.
  • Recognize overexposure of radiation and apply basic principles of radiation safety.
  • Follow AIDET framework for patient and team interactions.
  • Promote a cohesive work environment and be open to reassignment and additional duties as needed.
Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure
  • Graduate of an accredited Cardiovascular Technologist or Radiologic Technologist Program.
  • Must hold certification from American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) or relevant specialty certifications.
  • Must meet state licensure requirements appropriate to certification and job function.
  • Current ACLS and BLS certifications are required.
