Purpose

The Graphic Designer shapes and elevates the visual culture of Chapel Pointe Church. This role ensures every visual touchpoint clearly communicates gospel-centered messages and fosters an engaging environment that advances Chapel Pointe Church’s mission of Transformed Followers.


Job Responsibilities


Design Production

  • Produce engaging visual assets for weekend services, sermon series, digital platforms, social media, and special events
  • Adapt design concepts across a variety of mediums, including digital displays, print materials, merchandise, environmental graphics, and our website
  • Prepare print-ready files and digital deliverables that adhere to our brand guidelines 
  • Manage multiple design initiatives efficiently to meet target deadlines 

Brand Direction

  • Shape the visual identity of major sermon series and church-wide initiatives from initial ideation to final launch
  • Serve as a steward of the church’s visual identity, ensuring consistency and quality across every touchpoint
  • Offer constructive creative guidance and feedback to other designers, volunteers, or team members

Creative Collaboration

  • Work alongside our digital ministries team and other ministry teams to translate core messages into clear visual concepts across graphics and printed materials
  • Work collaboratively with our production team to ensure multi-channel media engagement

Qualifications

  • Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign)
  • Strong portfolio demonstrating a high level of design, typography, and layout expertise
  • Proven ability to lead design projects and contribute to creative direction
  • Strong understanding of branding, visual systems, and storytelling through design
  • Ability to operate with both creative vision and executional excellence
  • Experience with graphics  in a non-profit environment or ministry setting
  • Experience designing for a large-scale organization
  • Knowledge of motion design or animation (preferred)
