About the Role & Program Walt Disney Imagineering is the creative force that imagines, designs and brings to life all Disney theme parks, resorts, attractions and cruise ships worldwide. Working across a spectrum of disciplines that range from creative and conceptual to scientific and technical, Imagineers blend an innovative mixture of storytelling, art, science and technology to create immersive experiences, memorable destinations, and innovative entertainment for families around the globe. The approximate date of this internship is January to June 2027 and will be located in Orlando, FL OR Glendale, CA.

What You Will Do

We are looking for a Graphic Design intern who will work with the team that develops creative information design presentations, signage and show graphics to help sell the ideas and tell the stories throughout the Disney Parks and Resorts! As an intern on the team, you will have the opportunity to: Build information design presentations that support various phases of a creative idea or project Provide support to various Environmental Graphic design projects by assisting in project design development and technical documentation Prepare Signage design information and documentation Provide design documentation in the form of illustration, photographs, scaled images, graphics and research on assigned projects Required Qualifications & Skills Experience with thoughtful design, artistic skills and professional judgment in solving graphics and signage design challenges that will live in our Theme Parks, Resorts and Ships Strong skills with design and illustration tools such as Photoshop, Illustrator, In Design, Sketch-up and MS Office Suite Experience using Keynote Valid Driver's License Required.

Preferred Qualifications

Minimum one year experience in Graphic Design practice, or one or more years in a professional internship is preferred Familiarity with Information Design and presentation decks Familiarity with Environmental Graphic design, sign construction techniques, and related areas including architecture, interior design and landscape design Familiarity with video editing and video editing programs including After Effects and/or Premier 3D modelling experience with programs such as Rhino, Revit, Maya, ZBrush, and/or Blender Prior Disney experience and knowledge Membership in Society of Environmental Graphic Design Materials Education Currently enrolled as a Junior or higher attending an accredited college/university earning a degree in Graphic Design, Industrial Design, Architecture, Graphic Arts, Graphic Communications, Production Design, or related visual art field. Eligibility Requirements & Program Information Be enrolled in an accredited college/university pursuing a degree taking at least one class at time of application posting OR currently participating in a Disney College Program or Disney Internship Be at least 18 years of age Possess unrestricted work authorization Have not completed one year of continual employment on a Disney internship or program.

Able to provide reliable transportation to/from work Must be fully available for the duration of the internship Must provide own housing for the duration of the internship in Glendale, CA We provide limited housing opportunities for Florida-Based Professional Interns through American Campus Communities The pay rate for this role in Orlando, FL is $26.50 per hour for undergraduate students and $27.50 per hour for graduate level students. Select benefits may be provided as part of the compensation package, such as medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
