Job description

NOVA Engineering & Environmental is hiring an Environmental Staff Scientist to support our growing team in Kennesaw, GA. This role is ideal for a motivated professional with experience in Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments and field investigations.

Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Perform Phase I & II Environmental Site Assessments (ESAs)
  • Conduct soil and groundwater sampling
  • Support site investigations and environmental assessments
  • Prepare technical reports and documentation
  • Work closely with project managers on a variety of environmental projects

Requirements:

  • 2–5 years of environmental consulting experience
  • Experience with Phase I/II ESAs and field sampling
  • Bachelor’s degree in: Geology, Environmental or Civil Engineering, or Environmental Science
  • Strong communication and report writing skills
  • Ability to work both in the field and office

Preferred:

  • HAZWOPER certification
  • Experience with additional services (vapor intrusion, asbestos, mold, lead, etc.)
