Competitive Earnings Potential: $60,000 - $150,000+ annually

Store Managers are responsible for leading store operations, developing high-performing sales teams, delivering exceptional customer experiences, and driving profitable growth. This role combines leadership, coaching, sales management, operational excellence, and customer service to ensure the store consistently meets or exceeds company and Verizon performance expectations.

Store Managers must live within a 40-mile radius of their assigned store within 60 days of starting the position.

Position Summary

As a Store Manager, you will lead by example, inspire your team, and create a culture focused on sales excellence, integrity, accountability, and customer satisfaction. You will recruit, coach, and develop Sales Representatives while ensuring operational excellence and achieving company sales goals.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Leadership amp; Team Development

  • Manage, motivate, and develop a team of Sales Representatives.
  • Lead by example through personal sales performance and exceptional customer service.
  • Recruit, interview, hire, onboard, and train new employees.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, mentoring, and performance feedback.
  • Develop and implement employee performance improvement plans as needed.
  • Conduct regular performance evaluations and career development discussions.
  • Foster a positive, productive, and engaging work environment.
  • Effectively manage employee turnover and staffing needs.
  • Ensure all employees understand and comply with company policies and procedures.
  • Be present for all new hire onboarding and setup activities.

Sales amp; Business Performance

  • Drive store sales and profitability by executing company initiatives and sales strategies.
  • Manage business funnels, customer follow-up activities, and lead generation efforts.
  • Ensure completion of customer callbacks, Verizon Engage activities, and lead submissions.

Customer Experience

  • Deliver and promote exceptional customer service standards.
  • Respond to customer concerns and complaints within 24 hours or by the next scheduled shift.
  • Ensure store phones are answered promptly and voicemails are returned daily.
  • Create an environment that consistently exceeds customer expectations.

Operations amp; Inventory Management

  • Oversee daily store operations and execution of operational checklists.
  • Review sales invoices by the next scheduled shift.
  • Manage inventory levels, daily inventory counts, and purchase orders.
  • Maintain awareness of stock levels and inventory accuracy.
  • Ensure the store interior, exterior, and restrooms meet company standards.
  • Maintain adequate store supplies and operational resources.
  • Ensure all sensitive documents and reports are submitted accurately and on time.

Financial Management

  • Manage store revenue and cash-handling procedures.
  • Protect company assets and maintain financial accountability.

Scheduling amp; Communication

  • Create schedules that support business needs while maximizing productivity.
  • Ensure adequate staffing coverage during all operating hours.
  • Cover shifts or adjust schedules as necessary to support store operations.
  • Attend required meetings and communicate important information to staff promptly.
  • Utilize Outlook, Teams, and other company communication platforms effectively.
  • Monitor and respond to communications within established expectations.
  • Report late openings, early closures, or operational concerns immediately.

Safety amp; Compliance

  • Maintain a safe work environment through adherence to safety procedures.
  • Enforce company policies and operational standards.
  • Ensure compliance with Verizon and Team Wireless requirements.

Qualifications

  • Minimum of 1 year of retail or sales management experience required.
  • Minimum of 2 years of wireless sales or related industry experience preferred.
  • Verizon Wireless experience strongly preferred.
  • Proven ability to coach, mentor, and develop sales professionals.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and customer service skills.
  • Demonstrated track record of achieving sales goals and business objectives.
  • Ability to effectively manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
