Global Environmental & Industrial Response (GEIR) partners with utility, mining, chemical, pulp and paper, and manufacturing industries to deliver safe, reliable environmental and industrial services. Our teams provide 24/7 industrial cleaning, hydro blasting, vacuum truck services, emergency response, waste transportation and disposal, and specialized maintenance and turnaround services for sulfuric acid facilities-all while maintaining the highest standards of safety and regulatory compliance.


Class A Environmental Commercial Operator

Looking for more than just a driving job? At GEIR, your CDL is the foundation of a rewarding career in environmental services. As a Class A Environmental Commercial Operator, you'll spend approximately 80% of your time assisting with environmental servicesand 20% operating a CDL vehicle, including emergency response, industrial cleaning, waste transportation, and site remediation.


What You'll Do

  • Safely operate vacuum trucks, roll-off trucks, tractor-trailers, tankers, and dump trucks
  • Support environmental response and industrial service projects
  • Conduct vehicle inspections and report maintenance needs
  • Comply with DOT regulations and company safety policies
  • Represent GEIR professionally while working with customers and project teams


Work Schedule & Highlights

  • Primarily local routes with occasional overnight travel
  • Weekly overtime opportunities
  • 24/7 on-call rotation and occasional weekend work required
  • Shifts may exceed eight hours based on project demands and emergency response needs

Required Qualifications

  • Valid Class A CDL
  • Tanker and HazMat endorsements
  • Minimum two years of commercial driving experience
  • Clean driving record for the past three years

Preferred Qualifications
