Description
POSITION PURPOSE/MISSION: The Master Planner will collaborate with the internal team at Kondex to create an achievable production plan that aligns with our customers' needs, our internal ability to execute and our inventory strategy.
REPORTS TO: Director of Supply Chain
Resume' required with application to be considered for this position.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES and RESPONSIBILITIES:
  1. Using data analytics, and sales and inventory insights, coordinate with account managers and production leaders to plan and drive manufacturing and procurement activities, including materials and production schedules of the organization, prioritize operations, maximize efficiencies and ensure our internal and external customer demands are consistently met.
  2. Make decisions based on material, equipment, and inventory availability proactively to ensure products are manufactured on time.
  3. Assist in setting and maintaining inventory levels.
  4. Facilitate the cycle count process, performing weekly audits of Team Leader counts, and maintain and communicate related reports and KPI's.
  5. Assist the sales and customer service teams to expedite customer orders as needed.
  6. Work with Purchasing to expedite outside process orders as needed. Work with internal team on new product development and implement production plan.
  7. Provide input to the Sales and Operations Planning Process.
  8. Actively participate in capacity planning.
  9. Actively participate in information systems improvements.

Requirements
  1. Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration, economics or related fields, or equivalent years of experience
  2. Five or more years of planning experience preferred
  3. One or more years of experience with Epicor or advanced ERP software
  4. Three or more years of manufacturing experience in a complex, integrated manufacturing environment Advanced Microsoft Excel skills including pivot tables
  5. Highly desirable behavioral competencies include customer focus, ability to collaborate cross-functionally, ability to multi-task, decisive judgment, detail oriented, follow through, active communication, organizing and planning, tenacity, adaptability, listening skills, problem solving and results orientation
