This is a PART TIME position!


Under the direction of the Maintenance Coordinator, the Maintenance Technician will be responsible for is responsible for maintaining electrical, plumbing, mechanical, HVAC and related systems. In addition, the Technician will perform a variety of routine maintenance and related administrative tasks.


ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

(Included but not limited to the following);


· Safely perform work orders to ensure our facilities are safe, secure, and comfortable.

· Perform Preventative Maintenance work orders on HVAC, electrical systems, plumbing fixtures, laundry equipment, exterior building envelope, and various other systems.

· Change and clean air filters on various HVAC equipment.

· Perform manual repairs on any/all building systems (locks, windows, doors, drywall, framing, roofing, gutters, etc.).

· Perform maintenance of electrical lighting systems (including replacing light bulbs and sockets, cleaning and repairing light fixtures, replacing air filters, etc.).

· Perform landscaping projects (installing mulch, removal of small trees, trimming plants, etc.).

· Assist in moving furniture, bedding, large trash items, etc.

· Perform general cleanup work orders throughout our various facilities.

· Utilize box truck and other fleet vehicles for picking up supplies and assist in logistical support to all locations.

· All other duties assigned. 


KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES REQUIRED:


· Possess competent knowledge of the use and care of tools and equipment used in facility and ground maintenance.

· Must have a valid SC driver’s license.

· Must provide excellent customer service to staff, vendors, and contractors.

· Must be able to understand and follow complex oral and written instructions.

· Must possess thorough knowledge of the occupation hazards (OSHA) and corresponding safety precautions necessary for the safe performance of assigned duties.

· Must be physically able to carry out manual labor duties.

· Must be able to work a flexible schedule as work hours may not always be uniformed or prescribed.

· Must be responsible, dependable, and punctual.

· Must be able to work at any FHCN site as needed.


This is a Part Time position - 3 days per week

Requirements:

 EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE


· A high school diploma or equivalent 

· 1-3 years demonstrated experience in maintenance.

· Must have a valid SC Driver’s License.
