Micro Scheduler

The Micro Scheduler plays a vital role in optimizing the daily or weekly production schedules to ensure efficient utilization of resources and timely delivery of products. By meticulously analyzing data and coordinating with various departments, the Micro Scheduler ensures that production goals are met while maintaining high-quality standards.

Responsibilities and Activities:
  • Develops detailed production schedules on a daily or weekly basis, aligning with manufacturing objectives and customer delivery timelines.
  • Coordinates the availability of materials, components, and equipment to support seamless production processes.
  • Manages product deliveries to customers, ensuring timely and accurate fulfillment.
  • Analyzes production data to generate reports and identify opportunities for schedule optimization.
  • Utilizes data-driven insights to enhance scheduling efficiency and overall effectiveness.
  • Communicates daily attainment figures and weekly output reliability to the production team.
  • Maintains consistent communication with various departments, including production, sales, and customer service, to ensure smooth operations.
  • Utilizes email, software platforms, and other communication channels to facilitate effective coordination.
  • Performs additional responsibilities as required to ensure the team's success.
Qualifications

Education:

  • Associate's Degree or higher, or equivalent combination of education and relevant experience.

Work Experience:

  • Prior experience in direct mail, print design, or related field is preferred.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • Familiarity with printing, bindery, envelope, and mail services equipment is a plus.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) is required.
  • Ability to learn and utilize ERP systems; experience with PrintStream ERP software is advantageous.
  • Comfortable using accounting software, logistics planning programs, and manufacturing software.
  • Ability to read and interpret purchase orders, job layouts, safety rules, and procedure manuals.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively address both individuals and groups.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and a commitment to quality.
