About Good Pill
Good Pill is building the pharmacy of the future for families in Georgia. We believe in putting families' health first by providing transparent and affordable pricing so that everyone can access the medications they need to stay healthy without breaking the bank. We match the surplus medicine that would otherwise go to waste and work to improve the health of millions through affordable medication!
About the Role
As a Pharmacy Technician II + Customer Support, you'll play a vital role on a mission-driven team that's rethinking how pharmacy care is delivered. This unique role combines prescription fulfillment responsibilities with patient-facing support, giving you the opportunity to both prepare medications and connect directly with patients to ensure they have a smooth, supportive experience. You'll work behind the scenes to manage incoming medication orders, maintain inventory, and fill prescriptions with precision. You'll also be part of our Patient Navigation team-responding to patient questions, resolving account issues, and helping patients navigate our systems.
In this role, you will be responsible for...
  • Handling incoming medication orders with precision, selecting the correct medication from our extensive inventory of donated drugs.
  • Accurately filling prescriptions by repackaging donated drugs from unit-dose packaging into patient vials.
  • Overseeing inventory management, including removing expired products, updating inventory software with new items, and ordering essential supplies such as vials and envelopes.
  • Responding to patient inquiries via phone, text, and email, providing guidance and troubleshooting account or medication issues.
  • Assisting patients with account setup and ordering, ensuring they understand our services and can navigate our online tools.
  • Assisting with various administrative and operational tasks as needed.

We're excited about you because...
  • You share our passion for revolutionizing pharmacy services in Georgia, leveraging technology to build scalable solutions that put families' health first.
  • You bring at least 2 years of experience as a pharmacy technician in a high-energy retail setting.
  • You are excellent at providing customer service and communicating via phone, text and email.
  • You're excited to be part of a startup team, thriving in a fast-paced environment while driving process improvements and embracing technology to boost efficiency.
  • You're technology proficient. You have experience using different pharmacy software, customer management platforms, and GSuite and you can easily navigate and troubleshoot.
  • You're reliable and dedicated. This full-time role requires 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, 9:30am-6pm. Consistent, punctual attendance and a commitment to high performance are essential.

What We Offer
  • Health Coverage: We pay 100% of your medical, dental, and vision insurance premiums, starting the 1st of the month after you join.
  • Paid Time Off: Enjoy over 6 weeks of paid time off, including 2+ weeks of company holidays, 2 weeks of vacation, and 2 weeks of sick leave.
  • Future Planning: Full-time employees receive a 4% match on their 401K, with options for both traditional and Roth 401K contributions.
  • Growth Opportunities: We offer a professional development stipend to help you learn new skills or explore different areas of our organization.

Candidates without the following will NOT be considered:
  • COVID-19 vaccination
  • A Georgia Pharmacy Technician license in good standing
  • Experience in all tasks related to filling prescriptions under pharmacist supervision, from entering into software to picking products to repackaging to adding appropriate postage to envelopes.
  • Passed background check

Physical requirements: Able to frequently stand, walk, twist, bend, stoop, squat and use light/fine grasping. Able to frequently sit and stand, reach above shoulders, perform desk based computer tasks, write by hand, lift, carry, push, stack, and pull objects that weigh up to 40 pounds.
