Job Description
Quality Control Associate
The Quality Control Associate will prioritize inspections, quality audits and work needed to ensure the location Protocols and Standards are met. These audits will focus specifically on our inbound team to ensure all product received is to customer's standards.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
o Visually inspect and/or test all materials shipped into the facility to determine if material meets specifications and standards
o Audit processes to ensure quality standards and defect ranges (panoplies) are being met.
o Document audits and maintain appropriate records
o Process off-specification material as directed
o Effectively work and communicate with others in the organization and customers
o Inform Inbound Supervisor of major and critical defects found during inspections
o Verifies corrective action is taken to resolve defects
o Participate in location inventories
o Other duties as assigned
KNOWLEDGE
o High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred
o Previous quality assurance role
o Capable of basic math calculations
o Able to read and interpret specifications and drawings
o Able to use standard measuring equipment
o General knowledge of computers
o Able to lift, stand or walk constantly all shift as needed
o Able to lift up to 50 pounds and not allergic to latex gloves

o Maintains neat/organized work area and documentation
