What You'll Do

In this role,you'llbe responsible forsupporting packaging equipment and automation projects from early planning through installation and start-up.You'llwork closely with project teams, clients, vendors, contractors, and OEMs to develop equipment solutions, coordinate procurement, and support successful project delivery. This position playsan important rolein helping clients improve packaging productivity and achieve project goals while giving you hands-on experience in engineering, project management, and client service.

  • Support project execution activities, including line layout engineering, mechanical design, estimating, equipment procurement, schedule management, budgeting, site management, installation, start-up, and troubleshooting

  • Develop equipment designs, specifications, support systems, and bid analyses for packaging and automation projects

  • Coordinate with vendors, OEMs, and contractors to implement packaging equipment and automation solutions

  • Provide engineering support for continuous improvement initiatives using change control and return-on-investment methods

  • Evaluate existing packaging operations and support projects that improve productivity and deliver measurable value

  • Identifyand specify required tooling and packaging equipment within project timelines

  • Convert technical information into clear project documentation and design deliverables

  • Support integration of packaging automation lines and development of material handling methods

  • Assistwith vendor and contractor management throughout project execution

  • Build client and team relationships through responsive communication and consistent project support

What You'll Bring

Qualifications

  • Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering, chemical engineering, or a related technical degree

  • Academic, co-op, internship, project, or entry-level experience related to engineering, packaging lines, automation, manufacturing, or project execution

  • Proficiencyusing Microsoft Office, Microsoft Project, and AutoCAD

  • Ability to organize and execute multiple project responsibilities simultaneously

  • Ability to travel for project requirements, including installation and start-up activities, client and company meetings, trainings, seminars, forums, and conventions

Preferred Qualifications

  • Co-op or project experience with packaging lines, automation, or manufacturing applications

  • Co-op or project experience in food, dairy, high-speedbeverageor brewery, pharmaceutical, or consumer products environments

  • Basic understanding of project management fundamentals, packaging equipment, and material handling systems

Compensation

The approximate pay range for this position is $75,000-$90,000. Please note that the pay range provided is a good faith estimate for the position at the time of posting. Final compensation may vary based on factors including but not limited to background, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as geographic location of the position.
