This 2nd shift Assembler role focuses on cleanroom assembly of highly delicate catheter devices used in critical medical procedures. You will work primarily under a microscope, using small hand tools to assemble very small components such as coiled wire and tubing. This position requires strong attention to detail, consistent attendance, and the ability to work long shifts in a cleanroom environment.

Responsibilities
  • Perform cleanroom assembly of catheter components that are used in the brain to help prevent aneurysms, following detailed work instructions and quality standards.
  • Work under a microscope for extended periods to assemble very small parts, including coiling wire and inserting or handling small tubing.
  • Use small hand tools accurately and safely to build, align, and secure components during the assembly process.
  • Maintain strict adherence to cleanroom protocols, including gowning procedures and cleanliness requirements, to ensure product integrity.
  • Inspect components and assemblies visually and under magnification to verify quality, identify defects, and ensure compliance with specifications.
  • Follow all production, safety, and quality procedures, including documentation and record-keeping as required.
  • Meet performance expectations for productivity, accuracy, and quality while maintaining a steady workflow throughout the shift.
  • Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively on the cleanroom floor while keeping focus on quality and output.
  • Demonstrate reliable attendance and punctuality, adhering to the attendance policy that allows only one absence and one late occurrence within the first 90 days.
  • Participate in and successfully complete any required assessments or skills tests related to hand dexterity, tool use, and assembly tasks.
Essential Skills
  • Ability to work under a microscope for long periods of time while maintaining focus and precision.
  • Proficiency using small hand tools to manipulate and assemble tiny components.
  • Capability to work long hours, including extended shifts, while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Strong attendance and punctuality, with the ability to comply with strict attendance policies.
  • Willingness and ability to work in a cleanroom environment and follow all gowning and cleanliness requirements.
  • Comfort working with delicate medical components and following detailed instructions.
  • Ability to pass a hand assessment test that evaluates manual dexterity and tool handling skills.
  • Openness to entry-level work while demonstrating the capacity to learn quickly and follow instructions reliably.
Additional Skills & Qualifications
  • Previous cleanroom experience is highly desired.
  • Prior manufacturing experience, particularly in precision or medical device assembly, is highly preferred.
  • At least 2 or more years of relevant experience may qualify candidates for higher pay within the range.
  • Demonstrated ability to maintain high quality standards in a production or manufacturing setting.
  • Strong work ethic, dependability, and willingness to learn new processes and techniques.
  • Ability to build positive working relationships and communicate effectively with teammates and leadership.
Why Work Here?

Employees have the opportunity to transition to full-time permanent roles after successfully completing their required hours, opening the door to long-term stability and growth. Once permanent, the company covers 100% of benefits for employees and 50% for their immediate families, providing significant financial and personal support. The organization offers attractive incentives such as a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and holiday pay, supporting both financial security and work-life balance. Pay progression opportunities may include a potential raise during the assignment and an additional raise upon conversion to permanent employment, rewarding strong performance and development. The culture values attendance, quality, performance, and effort, and leaders focus on helping employees grow rather than expecting them to be experts from day one.

Work Environment

This role is based in a controlled cleanroom environment where you will wear a full gown and follow strict cleanliness and safety protocols throughout your shift. The atmosphere encourages communication and positive relationships among team members, as long as quality standards and productivity expectations are met. The leadership team is described as understanding and supportive, offering multiple chances for improvement when they see consistent effort and strong attendance. The position is on 2nd shift, with interviews typically scheduled in the early evening, and start dates available most days of the week. Most employees currently work long shifts, often around 10 hours a day and up to 6 days a week, with average weekly hours typically ranging from 40 to 45. The work involves extended periods at a microscope and frequent use of small hand tools, so the environment is best suited for individuals comfortable with detailed, repetitive tasks in a structured, highly regulated setting.
