Position Overview:
The Private Placement team is responsible for the overall management of the private placement portfolio. Involved in sourcing, evaluating and negotiating syndicated new issues, as well as secondary investments. Monitors existing portfolio of private placement credits, updates credit reviews and handles waivers, amendments and other issues as they develop. Research and compile information for presentation to clients. Engage agents active in broadly syndicated private placement transactions to maintain relationships and expand investment opportunities.
Job Description
Responsibilities:
  • Responsible for evaluating and structuring private placements.
  • Works under general direction of Team Leader and/or Senior Analyst to achieve objectives.
  • Negotiates and prepares recommendations concerning investment opportunities within area of team focus (mezzanine, ABS, domestic, or international).

Required Qualifications:
  • A minimum of 2 years of private placement or equivalent credit research experience.
  • BA required.
  • Analytical and structuring skills, requiring only general guidance.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • MBA or CFA preferred but not required.

Job and compensation levels depend upon an applicant's qualifications including the extent of candidate's relevant experience and other job-related factors and will be determined by hiring supervisors/managers and HR.
