THE JOB:
As a Risk Management Administrative Assistant, you'll play a key role in supporting the accuracy and organization of the department's claim and insurance processes. In this role, you'll handle data entry for claims, manage claim files and evidence, track deadlines, and provide professional communication through daily calls and emails. You'll also support the Director of Risk Management with reports, follow-ups, and administrative tasks. This is a great opportunity for a self-starter who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working independently, and values teamwork across diverse departments.
THE STARTING RATE: $21 Per Hour
THE DAY-TO-DAY:
  • Accurately enter claim information into the database while partnering with departments to collect documentation supporting claim investigations
  • Maintain a professional and courteous demeanor while communicating with patrons and have the ability to handle complex customer phone calls
  • Process check requests and payments in connection with claim management
  • Review Certificate of Insurance and submit requests for corrections to the certificate to meet company standards as set for by contractual documentation
  • Answer phone calls, take messages when necessary, and order supplies for the department as needed
  • Print Executive Brief Reports for review with Director and set up assigned claims and initiate handling

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE:
  • Must be a minimum of 21 years of age
  • Has 2+ years of prior relevant experience in guest service-related field/administrative support or equivalent
