Entry-Level Auto Technician (Lube/General Repairs)

Location: Jonesboro, Arkansas

Company: Wewerized Diesel Performance

Schedule: Full-time (Mon–Fri), 8:00am–5:00pm

Pay: $11–$20/hr

About the Role

Wewerized Diesel Performance is hiring a motivated entry-level Auto Technician to join our automotive service team. This position is ideal for someone eager to learn and grow in a professional shop environment, performing routine maintenance and supporting senior technicians with basic repairs.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic vehicle maintenance (oil changes, filters, fluids, tire rotations)

• Inspect vehicles and assist with troubleshooting under supervision

• Replace brake pads/rotors and other minor wear parts (training provided)

• Help with tire service, batteries, belts/hoses, and wiper replacements

• Keep tools and work areas organized and follow safety procedures

• Document work performed and communicate findings to service staff/lead techs

• Follow manufacturer procedures and shop quality standards

Requirements

• Basic mechanical knowledge (training or experience preferred)

• Willingness to learn and follow step-by-step repair procedures

• Valid driver’s license with acceptable driving record

• Ability to lift to 50 lbs and stand/walk for extended periods

• Strong attention to detail and willingness to work in a team
