What You Will Enjoy Doing
  • Recruiting/Staffing
    • Assists in screening candidates and scheduling interviews
    • Conducts new-employee orientations
    • Coordinates pre-employment processing including background checks, drug screens and employment verification.
    • Prepare a and process offer letters and new hire documentation in HRIS.
  • Employee Records and HRIS Management
    • Maintains personnel files in compliance with applicable legal requirements
    • Keeps employee records up-to-date (Including HRIS and training records)
    • Maintains compliance with federal and state regulations concerning employment
    • Monitors performance evaluation program
    • Employee Support and HR Operations Serve as first point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and general inquiries. Escalate complex employee relation matters to the HR Manager as appropriate
    • Participates in administrative staff meetings and attends other meetings and seminars
    • Maintains company organization charts
  • Compliance and Policy Administration
  • Ensure adherence to federal, state and local employment laws and company policies
  • Support audits (I9, HR, safety and compliance-related)
  • Assist with maintaining required postings and employee communications
  • Terminations
    • Processes terminations documents
    • Coordinate exit processes, including documentation and system
What Makes You Great
  • 2 year Degree (Associates) in related field or equivalent required
  • Ability to make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues, by using judgment that is consistent with standards, practices, policies, procedures, regulations and employment law
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and behave in a professional manner
  • Ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing with superiors, co-workers, and individuals inside and outside the Company
  • Substantial knowledge of employment practices, laws and regulations
  • Good computer skills
