Governors Club is calling all individuals with a true passion for the outdoors, grounds maintenance, and the game of golf to apply and join our team in Golf Course Maintenance.Golf Course Grounds Maintenance is an entry-level position to aid the golf course maintenance team in small task related to mowing and course conditioning. Individuals should have the ability to operate primarily small equipment such as string trimmers, fly mowers, walking greens mowers, sand pro and utility vehicles. Based on their experience and quality of work these operators may be requested to learn to operate larger equipment.Job Duties and Responsibilities:Mow FairwaysWood workingPaintingIrrigation repairsTree trimmingOperate small equipmentWalk mowing greensSet golf course; cut cups, move tee markersHand raking and power raking bunkersString trimming creeks and other parts of the courseEdging curbsHelp to complete various small projects such as sodding, tree removal, bunker renovation, etc.Help ensure the maintenance facility is kept neat and clean and all equipment is being washed off properlyQualifications:Ability to work outdoors, all seasons, and in all weather conditionsSome Landscape maintenance experience preferred, but not required18 years in age by the start dateValid Driver's LicenseReports To:Golf Course Superintendent - Assistant SuperintendentEmployee Benefits include:Paid Vacation and Sick TimeAvailable to Full time employees after 90 days Accrued time may not be used until employee has completed six months of employmentHealth, Dental, Vision Insurance Available to employees averaging 30 or more hours per week after 90 days - Employee cost $7.50/weekly6 Paid HolidaysAvailable to Full time employees after 90 days401k Retirement PlanAll employees who complete 1000 hours in a plan year.
