Position Overview

Forest View Psychotherapy Center is seeking a compassionate and dedicated Licensed Mental Health Therapist to join our remote team. This full-time role involves providing high-quality therapeutic services to clients grappling with a variety of mental health challenges. As a Licensed Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW), you will collaborate with individuals, couples, families, and groups to deliver tailored treatment plans that prioritize emotional wellness and personal growth.

About the Organization

Located in Bellevue, Washington, Forest View Psychotherapy Center is committed to offering comprehensive mental health services that enhance the well-being of our community. Our mission is to foster a supportive environment where clients feel safe to explore their mental health concerns and engage in meaningful therapeutic experiences. We value diversity and inclusivity, striving to create a workforce that reflects the communities we serve.

Work Environment

This position offers the flexibility of remote work, allowing you to manage your schedule while delivering essential mental health services from a comfortable environment. As a community health clinic, our focus is on accessibility and client-centered care, ensuring that therapy is not limited by location. You will have the opportunity to utilize cutting-edge technology for telehealth sessions, maintaining the same level of engagement and effectiveness as in-person therapy.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough assessments to evaluate clients' mental health needs, employing evidence-based diagnostic methods to formulate clinical diagnoses and comprehensive treatment plans.
  • Deliver individual, group, and family therapy sessions utilizing therapeutic modalities that are tailored to meet the unique needs of each client, whether they are coping with anxiety, depression, trauma, or other psychiatric disorders.
  • Provide crisis intervention services, readily addressing situations where clients face acute mental health crises, ensuring their safety and emotional support during critical moments.
  • Maintain meticulous client records in compliance with ethical and legal standards, documenting assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and outcomes.
  • Collaborate effectively with a multidisciplinary team, including psychiatrists, social workers, and other healthcare professionals, to coordinate client care and maintain a holistic approach to therapy.
  • Educate clients and their families about mental health issues, treatment options, and the resources available within the community, while advocating for their rights and needs.
  • Engage in ongoing professional development activities, attending workshops and training sessions to remain updated with the latest best practices in mental health therapy.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse client population within our community health clinic framework. This includes individuals from various cultural, socioeconomic, and age backgrounds, each with their unique challenges. You will be instrumental in guiding clients through significant life transitions, trauma recovery, and chronic mental health issues, fostering resilience and emotional stability.

Qualifications
  • Currently licensed as a Mental Health Therapist (LMFT, LMHC, LICSW) in Washington state.
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field.
  • Demonstrated strong clinical assessment and diagnostic skills.
  • A minimum of two years of relevant experience providing therapeutic services.
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to connect with clients and facilitate open dialogue.
  • Proficiency in working autonomously while also participating actively as part of a collaborative team.
  • A deep commitment to upholding the highest ethical and professional standards in clinical practice.
Preferred Experience
  • While previous experience in a clinical setting is preferred, we encourage applications from passionate entry-level candidates who meet the qualifications.
  • Familiarity with teletherapy platforms and practices is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 85,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and qualifications, along with the potential for a sign-on bonus.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance options to support your well-being.
  • Access to continuing education and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills.
  • A supportive and collaborative work environment that values open communication and mutual respect among team members.
  • Flexible work schedules to promote a healthy work-life balance, with both full-time and part-time positions available.
  • Generous paid time off and recognized holidays to ensure personal wellness.
