Job description

GNC SYSTEMS ANALYST ENG Contract 6-18 Months 40 hours weekly Must be a US Citizen Client is seeking an engineer with an M.S. or a Ph.D. in Aerospace Engineering or the equivalent. The work will be focused on analyzing and designing guidance, navigation, and control (GN&C) algorithms and flight software. The analysis will include assessment of control, navigation, and guidance system performance, verification of algorithms and algorithm requirements, and analysis of flight dynamics and trajectory dispersions. Time domain simulations, covariance-based methods, and Monte Carlo dispersed analysis will be used to assess and tune system performance and to document analysis results. Qualifications Deep knowledge of MATLAB / Simulink (e.g., Bus objects, S-functions, embedded MATLAB) Knowledge of GN&C algorithm techniques and simulation modeling techniques Background in dynamics and linear analysis of aircraft, spacecraft, and missile closed loop performance (inner and outer loop)
