About the Role:

Justin Goushaw Farm Bureau Insurance is looking for a motivated and outgoing individual to join our team as an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative in Rockford, MI. This is an excellent opportunity for someone who enjoys building relationships, helping others, and developing a rewarding career in sales.
No insurance experience is required. We are willing to train the right person who brings strong communication skills, a positive attitude, and a desire to succeed. If you're competitive, goal-oriented, and enjoy working with people, we'd love to hear from you.
Position Overview:

As an Entry-Level Insurance Sales Representative, you will learn how to identify client needs, recommend insurance solutions, and build long-term relationships within the community. Through training and mentorship, you'll develop the skills needed to grow a successful career in the insurance industry while helping individuals and families protect what matters most.
Key Responsibilities:

  • Build relationships with prospective and existing clients through phone calls, referrals, networking, and community involvement
  • Learn and present Farm Bureau insurance products and coverage options
  • Identify customer needs and recommend appropriate insurance solutions
  • Follow up with leads and maintain an active sales pipeline
  • Assist with policy reviews and uncover additional coverage opportunities
  • Provide exceptional customer service before, during, and after the sale
  • Maintain accurate client records and agency documentation
  • Participate in training and professional development programs to build insurance and sales expertise
Qualifications:

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
