Delmar Financial Company (dba Delmar Mortgage) is seeking an entry-level, Compliance & Licensing Specialist to join our premier, in-house operations team in St. Louis. The Compliance & Licensing Specialist will provide administrative and operational support for the Company's compliance, licensing, and regulatory functions. This role assists with maintaining compliance programs, coordinating licensing activities, supporting audits and regulatory reviews, maintaining documentation, and helping ensure the organization meets applicable regulatory and internal requirements.
The ideal candidate is highly organized, detail-oriented, exercises sound judgment and can effectively manage multiple priorities while collaborating across departments.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
  • Support compliance, licensing, and regulatory initiatives across the organization.
  • Maintain compliance records, reports, tracking logs, and supporting documentation.
  • Assist with licensing administration, renewals, and regulatory filings.
  • Coordinate with internal departments and external agencies as needed.
  • Support audits, examinations, quality control activities, and compliance reviews.
  • Maintain organized records related to compliance, contracts, corporate documentation, and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify opportunities to improve processes, documentation, and operational efficiency.
  • Prepare reports and other administrative materials for management.
  • Maintain confidentiality of company, customer, and employee information.
  • Perform other related duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Will report directly to Head Counsel/Compliance Officer.

  • Experience in mortgage lending, banking, financial services, compliance, licensing, operations, legal administration, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities.
  • Ability to work independently while exercising sound judgment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
  • Experience with compliance, licensing, document management, or loan origination systems is a plus.
