FIELD SERVICE ENGINEER                             100% Travel Required

 

A top 5 OEM of automation and industrial robotics is hiring Field Service Engineer to join their award-winning team. The Field Service Engineer will install and service innovative material handling robotics solutions at customer sites.

 

Candidate must live within 50 miles of a major international airport

 

TOTAL On target earnings $79,275-89,250

$30.00-$34.00 Hourly Pay + OT


$62,400-70,720 Base plus OT (16,875-19,125)

The Field Service Engineer will be responsible for:

 

  • Installation and service of custom-engineered material handling machines at customer plants, including check-outs, set-up, tooling, operation, and programming.
  • Performing maintenance or modification on machines as needed to ensure operational efficiency is optimized.
  • Advising and assisting in the selection and ordering of tools and repair parts so that projects are completed in a timely manner.
  • Preparing and submitting service time and expense reports accurately as required.
  • Maintaining excellent relationships with customers

The Field Service Engineer will excel with:

 

  • Associates Degree, Technical school or Military Certification highly preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of industrial automation practices with OEM maintenance or related experience and/or training or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Understanding of mechatronic machinery in various manufacturing environments
  • Knowledge of robotic machinery programming (FANUC a plus)
  • Experience with PLC programming Allen Bradley
  • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 75 pounds.
  • Must be able to bend, crawl, sit, stand, crouch for extended periods of time.
  • Must be willing and able to travel heavily, domestically and internationally, for long stints of time

 

The Field Service Engineer will be rewarded with:

 

  • $30.00-$34.00 Hourly Pay $62,400-70,720 Base plus OT (16,875-19,125)
