We're expanding our Access Egress Hardware Team, seeking to a hire an experienced Test Engineer who will focus on both hardware and software components to join us on this journey. If you would like to be a part of shaping the future to connected living through IoT product testing, please apply!
This position will sit onsite full-time New Haven, CT.
What will you be doing?
  • Test Development: Design, Create, maintain, and execute comprehensive test of interconnected hardware and software platforms, ensuring the highest quality standards.
  • Collaborative Product Development: Work closely with product development teams, contributing to the creation, planning, and implementation of test plans, acceptance criteria, and procedures for both new and legacy product development.
  • Innovative Testing Approaches: Be a part of manual and automated testing development for our EM and Micro based products. Write specialized testing tools and participate in the design and development of test automation tools, apparatus, and fixtures.

What are we looking for?
  • Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineering Technology
  • Candidate should be capable of PC Based Functional test fixture hardware design and Test plan development
  • Versatile Engineering Background: Demonstrate expertise in electronic design, collaborative development, and testing, along with experience in embedded micro-controller systems.
  • End-to-End Development Experience: Showcase your experience in New Product Development, guiding projects from concept to production.
  • Analytical Proficiency: Ability to read and analyze schematics, engineering requirements, data, and test results, ensuring the identification, tracking, and resolution of hardware issues.
  • Project Management Excellence: Strong project management skills with the ability to create timelines, track activities, and meet delivery and performance commitments.
  • Collaborative Leadership: Exhibit strong leadership skills, collaborating effectively with team members throughout various product development and problem-solving activities.
  • Innovation and Initiative: Bring a creative mindset, high initiative, and achievement-oriented goals to the table.

Preferred Skills
  • Knowledge of Arduino, Flash Programming, BLE, IEEE488, RFID, Wifi USB and/or serial communications.
  • Experience developing Test solutions for complex products.
  • Experience with Altium, Teststand, C#, Knowledge of Electronics Manufacturing are highly valued.
  • Hands on skills in the lab for debug of your design
