Job description

Job Summary
The Pharmacy Informatics Specialist:
  • Coordinates process design, redesign, system build, system testing, and implementation of various medication information technologies, including interfaces and related information technology projects.
  • Works on complex projects both as a member of a team and independently.
  • Coordinates workflow analyses and the development of system designs to meet user requirements.
  • Develops/updates user training tools and policies/procedures to support technologies.
  • Works with other disciplines within Tower Health System.
  • Develops on-going automated decision support tools related to the safe/effective use of medications, the documentation of medication transactions, and proper billing for medications.
  • Upholds the mission, vision, values, and customer service standards of Tower Health.
