Job Summary

Benchmark Insurance Group is seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer to design and build scalable, high-performance applications that support our growing insurance brokerage operations. This role is ideal for a developer who thrives in a fast-paced environment and enjoys solving complex technical challenges while contributing to business-critical systems.


Responsibilities

  • Develop, test, and maintain scalable software applications
  • Collaborate with product, operations, and leadership teams to deliver solutions
  • Lead technical design and architecture decisions
  • Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code
  • Review code and mentor junior developers
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
  • Build and integrate APIs and third-party services
  • Ensure application performance, security, and scalability

Qualifications


Required:

  • 5+ years of software development experience
  • Strong experience with at least one of the following: C#, Java, Python, or JavaScript/TypeScript
  • Experience with modern frameworks (e.g., .NET, React, Angular, Node.js)
