Job description

NakedMD, a leading medical spa in Newport Beach, CA, is seeking a skilled AI Developer to join our on-site team. As we expand our digital capabilities, this role will play a pivotal part in building intelligent automation and data-driven solutions that enhance our operational efficiency and customer experience. You will collaborate closely with the Chief Business Officer and a small, agile development team to deliver innovative AI-powered systems that support our marketing, analytics, and compliance objectives.

Please note: This role is on-site in Newport Beach, CA. Non-remote.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Designing, developing, and maintaining AI agents and automation workflows tailored to business needs
  • Extending and integrating full-stack applications with LLM capabilities for enhanced user experiences
  • Building and managing data pipelines across platforms such as Snowflake, Boulevard, Klaviyo, Shopify, and advertising APIs
  • Supporting server-side event tracking and marketing attribution to optimize campaign performance
  • Assisting with analytics, reporting, and dashboarding for actionable business insights
  • Evaluating, prototyping, and deploying emerging AI tools and technologies
  • Collaborating with business leadership and a small dev team to align technical solutions with strategic priorities
  • Participating in security reviews, incident response, and vulnerability remediation to ensure robust protection of sensitive data
  • Implementing secure coding practices, access controls, and supporting SOC 2 compliance requirements
  • Establishing guardrails, error handling, and human-in-the-loop oversight for sensitive AI automations
  • Handling PII responsibly and adhering to HIPAA/PHI privacy boundaries

Requirements

Required Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of hands-on software development experience
  • Strong proficiency in JavaScript and TypeScript for both front-end and back-end development
  • Production experience with React and Next.js
  • Experience integrating LLM APIs (OpenAI or Anthropic), including prompt engineering and agent design
  • Experience implementing guardrails and human-in-the-loop oversight for sensitive AI automations
  • Proficiency with SQL and modern data platforms (Snowflake, Postgres, or BigQuery)
  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake, Boulevard, Klaviyo, Shopify, and advertising APIs (Meta, TikTok, or Google Ads)
  • Familiarity with deployment platforms such as Vercel, Railway, or AWS
  • Experience working with HIPAA/PHI boundaries and responsible handling of PII
  • Experience supporting SOC 2 readiness activities
  • Experience implementing secure coding practices and least-privilege access controls
  • Experience participating in security reviews, incident response, or vulnerability remediation
  • Authorized to work in the United States
  • Proven ability to collaborate directly with business leadership and marketing/growth stakeholders on automation and attribution priorities
Preferred Qualifications:
