*About the Role*
DIT-MCO International is seeking a *Senior Software Engineer* to design, develop, and maintain software used in advanced automated test equipment. In this role, you will lead software development efforts from concept through deployment, working closely with cross-functional engineering teams to deliver reliable, high-performance solutions.
This position is ideal for an experienced engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working at the intersection of software and hardware, and taking ownership of technical outcomes.
*What You’ll Do*
* Own software architecture and design decisions for new products, from conception through completion.
* Lead the design of algorithms and flowcharts, in collaboration with other developers.
* Produce clean, efficient code based on specifications, within a test-driven development environment.
* Integrate software components into fully functional software systems and oversee verification and deployment.
* Ensure clear understanding of system specifications and requirements across the project team.
* Serve as a subject matter expert in essential core technologies.
* Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing and legacy software.
* Gather and evaluate user feedback; recommend and drive execution of improvements.
* Create and maintain technical documentation for reference and reporting.
* Collaborate with Product Managers, Project Managers, other engineers, other departments, and customers to drive innovation, solve complex problems, and deliver high-quality solutions.
* Guide and mentor team members by providing constructive feedback, offering growth opportunities, and sharing knowledge and expertise.
* Lead by example, demonstrating integrity, professionalism, and a strong work ethic.
* Supervise or train project team members, as necessary.
*Required Education & Experience*
* Bachelor’s degree in revelant field of engineering, computer science, or equivalent experience
* U.S. Citizenship
* Minimum 5 years of professional Software Developer, Software Engineer, or similar role preferred
* Demonstrated expertise developing web applications within popular frameworks, with a strong command of software design and development in a test-driven environment.
* Proven experience applying Agile development methodologies, including leading or guiding Agile practices within a team
* Advanced proficiency in database management, SQL, and Object-Relational Mapping (ORM)
* Specific and related industry experience, in addition to analog and digital hardware troubleshooting skills
*Preferred Technical Experience*
* ANSI C
* Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF)
* Database management, SQL, Object-Relational Mapping (ORM) frameworks
* Embedded software environments
* Specific and related industry experience, in addition to analog and digital hardware troubleshooting skills
*Skills & Attributes*
* Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, and Project)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
