Job description

Job Title: Task Lead/Project Manager

Location(s): Washington, DC USPTO

Hours: Regular Full-Time (in-person)

What you will be doing:

  • Administration: Weekly Status Report, Monthly Status Report, Weekly Media Support, Weekly Plant Patent Report, Missing Patent memo, Complaint Report, track and manage supply inventory, Product status request, Ad Hoc Information Requests, Product/Service Request Response, Daily Comptroller Report, Financial entry data entry
  • Provides task leadership to the USPTO team and is the JASINT liaison for all task related work. Works with PMO. Provides supervision to JASINT personnel. Provides Quality Assurance and Review in accordance with the SOW.

This position will serve as the Site Lead, responsible for establishing and maintaining a strong partnership with the customer, providing leadership and guidance to the team, managing priorities, and ensuring compliance with all contract requirements and deliverables. The role will act as the primary point of contact for customer service matters and provide overall leadership to the USPTO team. In addition, the Site Lead will supervise JASINT personnel, and ensure all quality assurance and review activities are performed in accordance with the SOW.

Shall possess proficiency in the use of Microsoft Office applications, including:

  • Microsoft Wordโ€“ for preparing official documentation, reports, and formatted correspondence
  • Microsoft Excelโ€“ for data entry, tracking logs, generating metrics, and producing reports with charts and formulas
  • Microsoft PowerPointโ€“ for creating presentation materials and summarizing data for leadership and stakeholder briefings

These tools are integral to daily operations, reporting, and communication. Personnel must be capable of using these applications independently and in accordance with USPTO formatting standards.

Position Requirements

Minimum Requirements:

Experience: Five (5) years' relevant experience

Education:

  • AA Degree
    • Two (2) years of additional relevant experience may be substituted for an AA degree

Physical Demands

This is largely a sedentary role; however, some filing is required. The ability to move files, open filing cabinets, and bend or stand as necessary would be required.
