Campers Inn RV is looking for an Entry Level RV Technician to join our team! We provide free basic tools yours to keep after 12 months of employment! No experience necessary! With our in-house technician training program, you will be learning valuable on the job skills right away! This role assists in the diagnosis, inspection, adjustments, and repairs for recreational vehicles including travel trailers.

Essential Job Functions

  • This is a safety sensitive position
  • Perform routine maintenance such as changing oil, checking batteries and lubricating equipment and machinery
  • Raise RV’s or equipment using hydraulic jacks or hoists
  • Inspect, test and listen to defective equipment to diagnose malfunctions
  • Inspect and verify dimensions and clearances of parts to ensure conformance to factory specifications
  • Assist in repairing and maintaining plumbing, electrical, and/or HVAC components

Qualifications

  • Education:
    • High school diploma or equivalent is required
  • License & Certifications:
    • Valid Driver’s license and good driving record is required
  • Experience:
    • No experience necessary
  • Abilities:
    • Ability to learn OSHA and other related state and federal regulations as they pertain to vehicle repairs, safety, and disposal of vehicle parts and fluids
    • Ability to communicate effectively across various levels of the organization, and communicate with customers and external vendors
    • Ability to read, analyze and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions and procedural manuals
    • Ability to use a variety of hand tools and power tools
    • Ability to comply with OSHA regulations regarding Protective Clothing and Equipment, such as goggles, gloves, etc
    • Ability to safely use petroleum products, solvents, and other chemicals
    • Ability to move RVs of various sizes
    • Ability to organize various physical tasks through adjusting, climbing ladders, connecting, lifting, pulling, pushing, or bending
    • Ability to stand for long periods of time.
    • Ability to reach above shoulders and lift a minimum of 50 pounds
