Are you enthusiastic about organizing events and crafting unforgettable experiences? We're seeking an energetic Production Associate to join our team! This is an entry-level role, where you'll work alongside a creative group to set up and breakdown a variety of exciting programs and events that captivate our community and guests. POSITION SUMMARY:

The role is primarily responsible for classroom and event set up and breakdowns, maintaining records and other documents related to inventory, as well as program room and equipment cleaning and maintenance. The role also acts as a liaison between presenters, presenter assistants and guests, while providing a level of support and customer service.

We're looking for someone who works well independently and as part of a team, with strong organizational skills and attention to detail. This person thrives in working effectively in a fast-paced environment, with a positive attitude and having excellent communication and customer service skills.

TheProduction Associateserves as a member of the Production team and is an entry level position. Experience is preferred, but not required. We are more than happy to train the right person!

ACCOUNTABILITIES/RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Sets up and breakdowns for all programs, events, and meetings.
  • Communicates directly with Kripalu faculty, visiting presenters, presenter assistants and guests, while providinga high levelof customer service.
  • Maintains program rooms and work areas (i.e., cleaning of blankets and yoga mats, mopping floors, distribution of yoga props, etc.).
  • Receives and stores incoming supplies and equipment.
  • Supports Supervisor and Leads by ensuring clear communicationregardingsuccesses and challenges during shift hours and before shift changes.
  • Takes the initiative and follows through with directed projects.
  • General office duties as assigned (i.e., paperwork, record keeping, filing, photocopying, printing).
  • Adapts to new software and technologies.
  • Provides coverage or perform special projects and miscellaneous duties as assigned by management, within production and in other areas of the organization when needed.

MINIMAL QUALIFICATIONS

  • Basic Word, Outlook, and Excel skills
  • Valid driver's license
  • Must be able tolift upto 50 lbs. and stand and work on feet for extended periods

PYSICAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to stand up for extended periods of time
  • Must be able to lift, push and pull at least 50 pounds at a time independently or withassistanceon an occasional basis
  • Ability to use fine motor skills
  • Ability to adapt to changes in temperature due to changing weather conditions
  • Ability to bend, stoop, reach, crouch, walk, kneel, push, pull and twist repeatedly
  • Ability to tolerate exposure to noise from general environment
