Cleanroom Operator (Entry Level)

Location: Sturbridge, MA
Job Type: Full-Time | Temp-to-Perm
Pay:

  • 1st Shift: 7:00 AM – 3:00 PM | $16.75/hour
  • 2nd Shift: 3:00 PM – 11:00 PM | $17.59/hour
  • 3rd Shift: 11:00 PM – 7:00 AM | $18.43/hour

About the Opportunity

Savvy Staffing is seeking reliable and detail-oriented Entry-Level Cleanroom Operators to join a growing manufacturing team in Sturbridge, MA. This is an excellent opportunity to start a career in manufacturing with the potential to become permanent and receive an excellent benefits package upon hire.

Job Responsibilities

  • Operate production machines and equipment in a cleanroom environment.
  • Follow detailed written work instructions and verbal directions.
  • Perform visual inspections of products according to quality standards.
  • Use hand tools to perform simple, repetitive secondary operations.
  • Count, pack, seal, label, and stack finished products.
  • Record scrap and production information accurately.
  • Place work-in-process parts in the proper location to prevent mixing with finished goods.
  • Clean and maintain the work area according to safety and housekeeping standards.
  • Assist with cleaning tools, machines, and equipment.
  • Follow all company safety, quality, and production procedures.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Previous manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus, but entry-level candidates are encouraged to apply!
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to understand written and verbal instructions in English.
  • Experience with ISO 9001 and/or ISO 13485 is a plus.

Physical Requirements

  • Work in a cleanroom environment while wearing required PPE.
  • Ability to read instructions, operate machinery, and inspect parts visually.
  • Ability to move equipment weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to frequently lift and carry boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Ability to stand, bend, and reach for extended periods, up to 8 hours per day.
