Job description

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Works closely with EE Relations & TA Manager to understand talent needs and develop effective and successful recruiting strategies.
  • Identify passive candidates by leveraging creative and innovative recruiting techniques to attract top talent.
  • Work with the EE Relations & TA Manager to implement proactive talent sourcing programs to fill key positions with a deep understanding of the competitive talent marketplace.
  • Collaborate with the recruiting team to execute talent-sourcing tactics such as direct sourcing, database mining, networking, cold calling, university relations, industry events, associations, online communities, external research, and social media (LinkedIn Recruiter, Indeed,Networking Events, Boolean searches etc.)
  • Leveraging Applicant Tracking Systems to build candidate pools and pipelines.
  • Manage multiple searches for different teams across the country.
  • Conduct pre-liminary interviews and coordinate follow-up interviews with hiring managers.
  • Become a subject matter expert of role requirements and how they will impact the organization.

Skills and Abilities:

  • Bilingual in French/English language is required
  • Knowledge of full lifecycle recruiting components including, but not limited to: talent sourcing, manager relationships and applicant tracking.
  • Ability to understand and interpret data, run reports, analyze trends, and identify actionable insights.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, both verbal and written.
  • Self-starter capable of working independently and ensuring to meet deadlines.
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple searches simultaneously.
  • The ability and drive to achieve results to meet placement goals.

Education and Experience:

  • High School Diploma or GED equivalent required.
  • Bachelorโ€™s Degree in business, marketing, human resources, or related field highly preferred.
  • Minimum 1-3 years of experience as a full-cycle recruiter within a technical recruiting capacity (AV and/or construction is a plus).
  • Track record of success recruiting entry level to senior executive levels of the business, specifically within the technology, AV, or construction industries.
  • Experience in using social media for sourcing (using forums like LinkedIn, Twitter, discussions forums, blogs etc.) required.
  • Intermediate, hands-on experience utilizing an applicant tracking system.
  • Experience with activity tracking and candidate screening documentation in an internal database to decrease cycle times for candidate identification and submission.
