Job description

MalaceHR is seeking a reliable and customer-focused Workplace Experience Ambassador to join our team in Kansas City, MO. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, detail-oriented, and comfortable supporting day-to-day workplace operations while delivering exceptional customer service to employees, guests, and vendors.

Position Details
  • Schedule: Negotiable schedule between:
    • 7:30 AM 4:00 PM
    • 8:00 AM 5:00 PM
  • Parking: Free onsite parking available

Position Summary

The Workplace Experience Ambassador is responsible for ensuring office and meeting spaces are properly maintained, organized, and prepared to support a positive workplace environment. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, guests, and vendors while assisting with event setups, front desk support, facility coordination, and workplace services.

This position requires strong customer service skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform physical tasks including lifting equipment and using small hand tools.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to employees, visitors, and vendors
  • Support front-of-house operations and direct incoming requests appropriately
  • Assist with event and meeting room setups including furniture arrangement, signage placement, and equipment preparation
  • Manage printer room and breakroom inventory and restocking
  • Identify facility-related concerns and escalate issues to the Facilities Management team
  • Assemble, move, and break down office furniture using small hand tools and equipment
  • Provide shared support coverage with front desk and workplace team members
  • Maintain clean, organized, and functional workplace spaces
  • Support additional workplace and facilities-related tasks as assigned
Qualifications & Skills
  • Strong customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written
  • Positive, energetic, and team-oriented attitude
  • Highly organized with strong attention to detail
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced office environment
  • Basic computer proficiency and ability to navigate workplace platforms and systems
  • Ability to safely lift and move 50+ lbs.
  • Comfortable using small hand-held tools and equipment
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and collaboratively
Education & Experience
  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Previous experience in reception, concierge, hospitality, workplace services, or related fields preferred
  • Catering or hospitality experience is a plus
