Job description

DH Pace Company, Inc. is seeking to hire Commercial Entry Door Technicians to install and service a variety of commercial doors and door hardware in our Bloomington, IL office! This individual must be able to troubleshoot, work without supervision, and have great attention to detail. A valid drivers license is required with a good driving record. We are hiring both Experienced Technicians or Trainees!

 If you have any experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade, you may find this opportunity to be a great fit for your career! We are willing to train!

Job Responsibilities: 

  • Install or service all products, to include doors and dock equipment cleanly and accurately
  • Identify opportunities to provide customers with products and services 
  • Tracking and maintaining job related paperwork and submitting in a timely manner 
  • Operating in safety conscious manner at all times while performing job duties 

Job Requirements: 

  • High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
  • Able to safely lift 100 pounds over your head
  • Commercial door experience and welding experience is a plus but not required 
  • Must possess valid driver's license and good driving record
  • Experience in construction, as a general laborer, service technician, installer, carpenter, mechanic, assembly worker, or any skilled trade is helpful, however, we are eager to train!
