Job description

LOCATION: Middletown, OH
SHIFT: Must be flexible to work on 1st or 2nd shift


POSITION SUMMARY: The Manufacturing Team Members are a part of a crew that supports daily tube mill operations by assisting with equipment setup, monitoring production processes, moving product, performing quality checks, and maintaining a safe and efficient work environment. This role is ideal for individuals with strong mechanical aptitude who are eager to develop technical skills in a steelprocessing environment. Full training is provided.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Assist with the operation and monitoring of tube mill equipment used to process and form steel tube
  • Perform routine quality inspections using gauges, calipers, micrometers, and other measurement tools
  • Support machine setups, tooling changes, and mechanical adjustments
  • Handle and move steel materials safely, including loading and staging using forklifts (training provided if needed)
  • Follow standard operating procedures and all safety protocols related to steel handling and mill operations
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area
  • Communicate equipment or process issues to the Mill Operator or Supervisor
  • Participate in training to develop technical knowledge and operational proficiency

Required:

  • High school diploma or GED
  • Strong mechanical aptitude and willingness to learn
  • Ability to work in a fastpaced industrial environment
  • Must be flexible to work on 1st or 2nd shift
  • Basic math and measurement skills
  • Ability to stand, lift, bend, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift
  • Commitment to safety, teamwork, and reliability

Preferred (not required):

  • Prior manufacturing or steelprocessing experience
  • Forklift experience or certification (company will train and certify if needed)
  • Familiarity with hand tools, mechanical systems, or production equipment

Work Environment

  • Industrial manufacturing setting with exposure to steel materials, machinery, noise, and moving equipment
  • Frequent use of forklifts and materialhandling equipment
  • Personal protective equipment (PPE) required at all times
  • Shift schedules may include days, nights, weekends, or overtime depending on
  • production needs
