Job Description:
Purpose: Under direct supervision, the entry level Warehouse Associate is responsible for receiving and moving materials within a warehouse, picks and packages orders for final shipment to the customer, and pulls and delivers parts for production according to requirements.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
1. Receives and moves material in warehouse; unload material from vendor trucks, move to inventory location and update system to reflect inventory levels.
2. Process pick orders from production requirements; locates material in system, pick up and move into inventory or new location and update system to reflect material movement.
3. Prepare material for shipment; pull items from inventory, assemble shipment in boxes and pallets as per customer specification and update system to reflect material shipment.
4. Uses ERP system to perform queries and other transactions.
5. Conduct weekly cycle counting of inventory levels and reports discrepancies.
6. Supplies and fills WIP bins and or lanes if applicable.
7. Maintains cleanliness and organization of the work areas.
8. Responsible for following all safety procedures and policies.
