Opportunity Overview:
At POP MART, we believe art has the power to inspire joy, spark imagination, and bring people together. As an Assistant Store Manager, you'll play a critical leadership role in delivering an exceptional customer experience while supporting all aspects of store operations. You'll partner closely with the Store Manager to drive sales performance, develop a high-performing team, execute operational excellence, and ensure the store consistently reflects the POP MART brand.
As a leader, you'll coach and develop team members, inspire a customer-first culture, and help create memorable experiences for collectors and first-time visitors alike. You'll also oversee daily operations, inventory, merchandising, and business performance while serving as Manager on Duty when the Store Manager is unavailable.
This position reports directly to the Store Manager.

What you will achieve:
Leadership & Talent Development
  • Partner with the Store Manager to recruit, coach, develop, and retain a high-performing team.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop Brand Associates and Sales Leads through coaching, feedback, and recognition.
  • Foster an inclusive, collaborative, and customer-first culture that reflects POP MART's values.
  • Serve as Manager on Duty, making operational and customer service decisions while ensuring an exceptional store experience.
  • Support onboarding, training, and performance development of new team members.

Customer Experience
  • Deliver an exceptional customer experience by leading from the sales floor and setting the standard for customer engagement.
  • Inspire excitement around POP MART's artists, characters, Blind Boxes, MEGA Collections, and exclusive collaborations.
  • Resolve customer concerns professionally while building long-term loyalty.

Sales & Business Performance
  • Partner with the Store Manager to achieve sales goals and key performance indicators (KPIs), including:

    • Inventory accuracy
  • Analyze business results and identify opportunities to improve sales performance.
  • Execute action plans to improve store performance and customer engagement.
  • Promote new product launches, limited-edition releases, and seasonal campaigns.

Store Operations
  • Oversee daily store operations, including opening and closing procedures, cash management, safety, and operational compliance.
  • Ensure company policies, procedures, and loss prevention standards are consistently followed.
  • Maintain an organized, clean, and safe store environment.
  • Support scheduling, daily task planning, and operational execution.
  • Monitor inventory accuracy, shipment processing, replenishment, transfers, and stockroom organization.

Visual Merchandising & Inventory

  • Execute POP MART visual merchandising standards and marketing initiatives.
  • Install planograms, fixtures, promotional signage, and seasonal displays.
  • Adjust merchandising based on inventory levels, sales trends, and business priorities.
  • Partner with store leadership to maintain inventory accuracy through cycle counts, audits, and replenishment.
  • Ensure back-of-house organization supports efficient store operations.

Brand & Community
  • Serve as a knowledgeable brand ambassador by staying current on POP MART's products, artists, characters, and company initiatives.
  • Support in-store events, product launches, pop-up activations, conventions, Robo Shop operations, and new store openings.
  • Build excitement within the local collector community while promoting POP MART's unique brand experience.

What you will need:
  • 2+ years of retail leadership experience in a supervisory or management role.
  • Proven ability to lead, coach, and develop high-performing retail teams.
  • Strong understanding of retail operations, customer experience, and business performance metrics.
