Marketing Administrative Assistant I - various locations

As a Marketing Assistant I their role will be in supporting the marketing team to enhance our brand presence and promote our services. You will be responsible for executing marketing strategies, coordinating promotional activities, and collaborating with departments to ensure the successful implementation of marketing initiatives.

Level:

Works under the close direction of senior personnel in the functional area. Possesses a moderate understanding of general aspects of the job.

What you will do:

  • Work closely with the marketing team, as well as cross-functionally with engineers and project managers, to gather information for marketing materials.
  • Assist in development of marketing proposals, resumes, project sheets and other collateral.
  • Utilize CRM to run reports and maintain pursuit records.
  • Oversee DOT precertification application process and records.
  • Work with employees to document activities in CRM.
  • Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and potential clients to inform marketing strategies.
  • Analyze marketing data and metrics to evaluate the effectiveness of deliverables and provide insights for improvement.
  • Ensure brand consistency across all deliverables.
  • Administrative Support: Provide general administrative support, including organizing files, maintaining vendor registrations, monitoring multiple email inboxes, managing calendars, and handling correspondence.


What you will need:

  • Proficient in creating written and visual content for marketing purposes.
  • Basic knowledge of graphic design tools for creating marketing materials.
  • Ability to conduct market research using various tools and platforms.
  • Strong analytical skills to interpret data and provide actionable insights.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills for effective collaboration and presentation.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize deadlines, and maintain attention to detail.

  • High school diploma or equivalent required. Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field preferred.
  • Previous internship or entry-level experience in marketing preferred. Preferably in a similar role within the engineering or consulting industry.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with marketing tools and platforms.
  • Familiarity with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) is a plus.
  • Familiarity with engineering terminology and industry trends is a plus.
  • Prolonged periods of sitting or standing at a desk and working on a computer.
  • Must be able to lift up to 20 pounds.
  • Mist be able to travel to various work locations.
  • May need to access and navigate job sites and construction areas.
