Senior Recruiting Coordinator
Location: One Citizens Bank Way, Johnston, RI
Work Arrangement: Flexible/Hybrid—up to four days or fewer in the office
Contract Period: 6 Months with possible extension
Pay Rate: $29.57/hr W2
Position Overview
The Senior Recruiting Coordinator will provide consistent administrative and operational support to the recruiting team. This position will complete recruiting and hiring activities accurately within established service-level agreements.
The coordinator will develop an understanding of the end-to-end recruiting process, including differences across business lines, recruiting tools, and systems. The position requires positive working relationships with candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and business partners to deliver an efficient and professional recruiting experience.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate interviews for entry-level through senior-level positions.
- Schedule one-on-one and panel interviews involving multiple interviewers.
- Reserve conference rooms and arrange video conferences.
- Coordinate and communicate candidate travel arrangements.
- Create interview itineraries and related communications.
- Process applicable travel-expense reimbursements.
- Confirm start dates with candidates and hiring managers.
- Initiate hiring and preboarding activities.
- Coordinate a smooth transition to Human Resources Shared Services for new-hire support.
- Provide quality-control support for offer-letter creation.
- Assist candidates with applying and accepting online offers through the applicant tracking system.
- Support recruiters and candidates who need assistance completing system-related actions.
- Identify and escalate recurring system issues and trends.
- Deliver professional customer service to candidates, recruiters, hiring managers, and other stakeholders.
- Resolve interview-scheduling and recruiting-support issues.
- Complete administrative and business-line-specific activities supporting recruiting and hiring.
- Participate in recruiting-related projects.
- Identify process-improvement opportunities and recommend solutions.
- Complete assigned activities accurately within established service-level agreements.
- Follow applicable organizational policies, regulatory obligations, and risk-management requirements.
- Promote fair candidate treatment and a safe, responsible risk culture.
Required Capabilities
- Recruiting coordination or related administrative-support experience.
- Interview scheduling and calendar-management experience.
- Ability to coordinate multiple interviewers, candidates, rooms, and virtual meetings.
- Familiarity with applicant tracking systems and recruiting workflows.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
