Compensation/Salary:

  • Bachelors Degree: $52,000-$73,474.64/yr - no experience cap!

  • Masters Degree: $56,000-$79,126.53/yr - no experience cap!

As a public charter school, ERA maintains its own board-approved salary schedule and does not follow surrounding district pay scales. Placement is based on education and verified experience.

Required Qualifications:

  • Valid Colorado Department of Education teaching license, a valid Career & Technical Education (CTE) Authorization, or enrollment in an alternative licensure program by start date.

  • Endorsement or demonstrated background in technology, computer science, engineering, robotics, cybersecurity, or related field.

  • Ability to teach courses such as STEM, Robotics, Interactive Technology, Computer Science, Video Game Design & Programming, Cyber Security, etc.

  • Ability to sponsor Robotics Club/Team and/or the Technology Student Association (stipend provided)

  • Ability to handle many complex tasks simultaneously.

  • The ability and interest to be part of a high-functioning team. (Having respect and trusted colleagues, preferably as teammates, makes the demands of teaching sustainable.)

  • The ability and interest to learn continuously and to adapt to changing circumstances (student characteristics, curriculum, and so on).

  • A belief in empowering all children as owners of their own learning.
