Job Summary:
Spellbrush is a leading generative AI studio passionate about creating a good anime game. They are seeking an AI Anime Researcher to define a new kind of video game experience, working with a talented team to push the boundaries of narrative-driven games using AI.
Responsibilities:
• Define a new kind of video game experience.
• Work alongside top otaku minds in the industry.
• Shape next-generation LLM-driven storytelling experience.
• Push the boundaries of what's possible at the intersection of the AI, anime, and video game industry.
• Gather human feedback through designing RLHF-style voting systems or analyzing human-AI interaction logs.
• Work on LLM infrastructure including building data processing backend, deterministic and checkpointable data loader, sharding, memory saving techniques, scalable benchmarking and checkpoint selection.
Qualifications:
Required:
• You have published or have industry experience with LLM post-training
• You have a deep understanding of LLM training and evaluation with attention to detail.
• You have worked on gathering human feedback
• You have worked on LLM infrastructure
• You love anime and the anime aesthetic
• You're comfortable working on small, fast-paced teams
• You can effectively balance research exploration with product-focused development
Preferred:
• Bonus if your post training work is focused on roleplay.
• Bonus if you have worked on latency optimization.
